I am preparing to go away this weekend. I scrapbook and this is our annual girls scrap weekend. Very much looking forward to this. This only issue that I have with this is the food of course. We learned from last year that we have to bring snacks I am making a chex mix I got a recipe from a lady that I work with with it is a big recipe makes allot however the nice thing is I can have extra here so if I am watching TV or whatever I have something that I can eat that is not high in calories. The recipe is you take 2 boxes of 2 flavors of chex mix a big can of potato sticks and I used a half a bag of pretzels I am not a huge salty fan so I didnt want too many you can add a whole bag if you want. then you melt 2 sticks of butter and add spices I added garlic and pepper also a can of peanuts. So the only so so thing that can be a trigger is the peanuts so if you want eliminate them, I like them in there but its such a huge mix that there are not a ton so I think its ok. bake at about 200 lowest your oven will go for about 2 hours. keep stiring.
I am also roasting a chicken one reason I can use the stock I can freeze it another is that I am going to make chicken salad to bring. They don't provide lunch Sunday and since I cannot have deli meat......
I have hogged out a bit too much on oreos this week I still am unsure if chocolate is a trigger. I had that migraine Tuesday that I blame on the eating this weekend had a touch of one yesterday and almost sort of started to get one today but it went away. I hope it was not the chocolate!! I did buy ginger cookies from newmans own again I really do like them and I found in the organic section like cheddar crackers that i can eat and the brand is Annies. I got more of my soups I can eat and some sunbutter breakfast bars. I had a sunbutter sandwich the other day I did like it. trying to aviod every single trigger is so hard!!!
I read on a blog the other day about flouressent light being a possible trigger. makes allot of sense to me I have always wondered when I feel good then i go to work under those lights i sometimes get a headache. I know that if you are on the verge of a headache one more trigger will set you over the edge and those lights may be it. Also may explain why when I
