I find that when I get a nightmare I get a migraine now is it the nightmare causing the headache or the headache causing the nightmare? I really have no idea! Doesn't really matter but it is something to think about!!! I also get insomnia when I get headaches. Hormones are out of control this week and this is why. Last night i got NO sleep at all, well like an hour before I was awakened by a bad dream I was very scared though i dont remember the dream. Then my neck and shoulders got very tight i got up and to a tramadol this helped it and used heat on my neck. I did get a headache later in the day today this had been the routine all week I seem to get a headache around 11 am take maxalt go home from work take a nap and its done. Feel pretty ok after, now this is a HUGE improvement from my normal. Today is the only day that I have felt crappy all day but its still not horrible. I have a tremendous amout of water retention and this seems to tell me my hormones are out of whack becuase i always get a headache when i am this bloated. At least now I see the patterns and can take meds accordingly. I do think that the migrarelief is making a big difference. Now I need to remember to use the progesterone cream this helps me sleep and helps with the bloat. I will get this right eventually then the headaches will find another path!! It is always a battle!
